Thabana Ntlenyana: The highest mountain peak in Southern Africa
Mount Everest is on most avid hikers’ bucket lists. Not mine. I h*te myself I know this, but not enough to go looking for death. The hikers’ bug started in 2014 when a friend suggested Mt Kilimanjaro. I took the idea and ran with it, summitting namaHili-Hili in February of 2015. Summitting mountain peaks has since become an addiction. Mt Kilimanjaro was followed by Mt Fuji in 2018. When the itch came again this year to visiting izintaba zokhahlamba (the Drakensberg you illiterate swine) I thought instead of doing just the Drakensberg, why not make it a thing and summit Thabana Ntlenyana, Lesotho the highest peak in Southern Africa?
